Luc Montagnier Foundation for AIDS Research (LMFAR)

Under the direction of President and co-founder Michael Weinstein, LMFAR has expanded into the world’s largest AIDS organization from a small group of friends committed to providing compassionate hospice care. As the organization moves forward with the goal of saving more lives worldwide, President Michael Weinstein has been at the forefront of developing innovative healthcare and advocacy programs.

All daily administrative and human resources-related tasks within the division, such as reporting, planning, and purchasing, will fall under the purview of the administrative assistant.

Responsibilities:

  • Follow up on a daily basis to make sure that new projects under the research division are really implemented.
  • Organize and oversee project staff retirement and imprest requests.
  • Work together with other administrators to make sure everything runs smoothly and that each project receives the assistance it needs.
  • Administrative assistance, including photocopying, scanning, and printing as required
  • Organising and supporting the logistics of all significant internal scientific meetings to guarantee their success.
  • Oversee the creation of the research division’s quarterly scientific reports and make sure they are effectively distributed to all scientists.
  • File, mail, scan, and enter the necessary documents as needed.
  • Make that participant confidentiality and privacy are upheld.
  • Providing transportation for both scheduled and unscheduled visits, as well as patient compensation
  • Comply with all personnel of the facility.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Diploma in Sociology, Public Administration, Business Administration, or a related discipline
  • Should possess fundamental managerial abilities and computer literacy.
  • The candidate needs to have worked in clinical research for a year.

Skills and Competencies:

  • An outstanding communicator both in writing and voice, and a team player.
  • Able to make use of an electronic management system.
  • Able to multitask while staying upbeat, tactful, and hospitable.
