Main responsibilities for the Marketing & PR Manager include creating and carrying out marketing campaigns, raising brand recognition, and preserving the Bank’s identity. Oversee MHB internal and external events as well as the public relations department.

Responsibilities:

Give the Marketing Unit daily leadership and management that is both effective and efficient.
Make sure that all bank operations, product campaigns, and below-the-line materials are delivered on schedule to the branches, headquarters, and clients.
Ensure that MHB is portrayed in a positive light by supervising the creation and use of innovative marketing, communications, and public relations strategies, products, and services that enhance MHB’s bottom line.
Create and oversee strategic marketing plans and budgets by keeping an eye on and evaluating market trends, taking into account organizational goals and market dynamics.
Develop ties with the media and the community, and represent MHB at events and projects in the community.
Evaluate the branch’s brand guidelines, present your findings, and suggest changes.

Qualifications:

Strong understanding of the goals and practices of marketing and communication as they apply to the financial services industry.
A bachelor’s degree in journalism, public relations, marketing, or communications.
It is preferred that creative people have a liberal arts background.
Three to five years’ minimum relevant middle management experience, ideally gained in a financial institution.
A keen eye for detail combined with the capacity to set priorities, meet deadlines, and produce high-quality work.
Strong managerial and leadership abilities.
Strong interpersonal, relationship-building, writing and vocal communication, and analytical skills.
Strong proficiency with computers (including Adobe Design Standard, Word, Excel, Power Point, and web design and upkeep).
Strong problem-solving and networking abilities.
Outstanding written and oral organizational and communication abilities in Swahili and English. Ability strong presenting and communication abilities.
