Mzumbe University
In accordance with Section 25 of the Universities Act No. 7 of 2005, which abolished the Mzumbe University Act No. 9 of 2001, Mzumbe University was founded by the Mzumbe University Charter, 2007. The University, in its capacity as a Training Institute, takes pride in its more than half-century of training experience in the fields of political science, business management, public administration, accounting, finance, and good governance.
The Mzumbe provides seven (7) Diploma Programs and eight (8) Certificate Programs. The Main Campus (MU) in Morogoro offers three (3) of the seven (7) Diploma Programs, whereas Mbeya Campus College (MCC) offers four (4). While Mbeya Campus College provides two (2) certificate programs, the Main Campus in Morogoro offers six (6). It should be noted that, as the chart illustrates, programs starting with the codes MU and MMB are offered at the Main Campus and Mbeya Campus College, respectively.
Entry Qualifications for Diploma Programmes
- At least one A-Level principal pass and one A-Level subsidiary pass are required of the applicant.
- The candidate must possess a minimum of three O-Level credit passes.
- A suitable certificate with a minimum GPA of 2.7 or Lower Second-Class Division from an approved training facility. The applicant also needs to have passed the Certificate of Secondary Education Examination (O-Level) at least four times. Each program has certain entrance criteria that are listed.
Entry Qualifications for Certificate Programmes
- A minimum of four passes on the Certificate of Secondary Education Examination (CSEE).

1. Before you start your Application
- As soon as the admission selection process is over, you will receive feedback regarding the status of your application using your phone number and valid email address.
- Click the “Admission” button on the Mzumbe University official website to get the URL for the online application and admission portal (https://admission.mzumbe.ac.tz).
2. Registration
