The Bank was founded in 1967 after all financial organizations, including banks, were nationalized by the Tanzanian government. The banking sector underwent changes in 1991, and the National Bank of Commerce was divided into three distinct institutions six years later, in 1997.
- Increase the profitability of the industry/segment portfolio by finding possible new and existing customers, as well as sales prospects and initiatives for promoting new products, which will guide the team to meet predetermined growth and revenue targets.
- Create industry/segment-specific business development goals and strategies to address shifting consumer demands.
- Using the new relationship building techniques, keep an eye on industry/segment conformity.
- Analyze industry/segment customer survey data in relation to desired service quality benchmarks.
- Track the volume of complaints and the caliber of complaints handled for the portfolio by industry or segment.
- Investigate rival potential and threats in the market and region of the segment in a proactive manner.
- Inform clients of all important information, such as established service guidelines, negotiated costs, relationship team contact details (such as hiring new staff), and updates to existing products.
- Do yearly and, if necessary, interim reviews of the loans that consumers have taken out.
Qualification:
- An undergraduate business administration degree.
- Ten years of banking experience, at least five of those in senior positions in investment and corporate banking.
- Extensive familiarity with bank legislation and banking practices (product knowledge).
- A master’s degree in business administration or a comparable degree.
- Senior banker with over ten years of experience overseeing small, medium, and large corporations.
- Extensive familiarity with bank legislation and banking practices (product knowledge).
Knowledge, Skills, and competences required:
- Knowledge about BOT Regulation
- Hazard Assessment
- The position holder should be well-versed in the demands of the most affluent clients when it comes to complex items.
- A thorough understanding of the goods and services offered by the large, local, and regional sectors.
- A thorough comprehension of credit risk policies, country guidelines, and CBRM requirements.
- Effective management of customer service
