The position is responsible for assisting the Audit Manager by coordinating audit plans (small and medium scale audit assignments) for assigned projects by ensuring all risks in the project are identified.
The position is also responsible for serving as a team leader for small and medium audit projects and special investigations. The position is responsible to ensure that sufficient audit evidence has been documented to support audit opinion and drafting quality audit management letter and recommendations to be presented to management.

1. Senior Audit Associate – Data Analytics M-1
Responsibilities:
- Organize audit plans (for small- and medium-sized audits) for projects that have been given to you, making sure that every risk is recognized.
- Establish the necessary data, then gather, check, and evaluate the procedures to find any risks in the processes that are being audited.
- Lead a team during small- to medium-sized audits and special inquiries.
- Conduct audits as needed and speak with the right people.
- Determine the causes or contributing elements of the risks; offer suggestions to strengthen the control deficiencies found.
- Evaluation of internal controls, governance procedures, and risk management procedures
- Examine and assess all finished projects, conclusions, and suggestions, as well as whether there is enough supporting documentation.
- Draft the audit’s conclusions and suggestions, then send the completed report to the audit manager for approval.
Skills:
- Strong accounting and financial understanding
- Exposure to financial organizations’ internal auditing practices.
- Proficiency with and understanding of auditing tools like Microsoft Vision, ACL, IDEA, etc.
- Understanding of banking operations’ controls and dangers.
- Sound oral and written communication abilities
- Understanding how to conduct value-adding internal audits using the Internal Audit Standards (IPPF).
- Leadership abilities, especially the capacity to inspire and guide groups of people toward a common objective.
Qualifications:
- A bachelor’s degree in a business or finance-related discipline
- An extra benefit is having a professional auditing or accounting qualification, such as an ACCA, CISA, CPA, or CIA.
- Having a postgraduate degree in finance or business is also advantageous.
- Three years or more of experience conducting audits in a respectable financial institution or audit company.
