Open Position and Description:
1. Senior Project Manager – 1 POST
Main Responsibilities:
- Hold the positions of secretary on project/program steering committees and chairperson on working committees with diligence.
- Oversee kick-off workshops to establish project goals, scope, methodology, structure, controls, and governance framework.
- Create project plans that include a detailed schedule of all anticipated tasks, deadlines, deliverables, and assigning of responsibility.
- Oversee the creation and approval of the business case and the business requirements.
- Calculate the amount of money, time, and resources needed to complete the project and inspire others to contribute.
- Provide appropriate frameworks for communication and governance for all initiatives and programs that are designated.
- Clearly identify who is responsible for each risk event and promptly escalate it to the appropriate level of management when needed to effectively manage project risks, issues, dependencies, and assumptions.
- Share updates with all pertinent parties, keep an eye on developments in relation to the project schedule, and take remedial action when necessary.
- Following the established procedure, handle modifications to the project’s scope, budget, schedule, and acceptance criteria.
- Assist in the formulation of the plans and strategy for testing.
Knowledge and Skills:
- Knowledge of banking systems, procedures, and processes
- Abilities in business process re-engineering.
- Abilities in business analysis.
- Customer service and interpersonal abilities.
- A demonstrated self-starter with the capacity to function in a demanding setting.
- Organization, multitasking, and planning abilities.
- Presentation and report writing abilities.
- Abilities in managing people.
- Can use analytical and problem-solving skills to adapt to changing demands, deadlines, and priorities.
Qualifications and Experience:
- A degree in project management, business administration, information and communication technologies (ICT), or a similar subject.
- The PMP Certification and other widely accepted project management and business analysis approaches, such as PRINCE2, AgilePM, PGMP, CBAP, etc.
- Strong project management, a foundation in business analysis, and practical application in a hectic, large-scale corporate environment are required. At least five years of experience managing major projects and programs are required.
