Tanzania is home to NMB Bank Plc. (“NMB”), a full-service commercial bank. Through its three main business divisions—retail, wholesale, and Treasury—NMB offers a range of financial services and products to individual customers, farmers, SMEs, corporations, institutions, and the government.
Maintain and support NMB working tools at Head Office and branches on a daily basis. Ensure that supplier work meets and beyond business and customer requirements. Provide services that are available, recoverable, secure, and continuously improved.
Responsibilities:
- In charge of the day-to-day and planned upkeep of the Branch’s user working tools (desktops, laptops, teller printers, MFPs, desktop printers, flatbed scanners, cheque scanners, CCTV cameras, agri-vouchers scanners, forex boards, note machines for sorting, counting, banding, and strapping), electric power systems (generators, UPSs, stabilizers, inverters, solar/wind power systems, etc.), and self-service terminals (on-site and off-site ATMs, Branch POS terminals, Merchant and Agents POS terminals, etc.).
- Make sure to examine every branch in your zone first thing every morning and take care of any issues that need maintenance by resolving or elevating them.
- Every six months, the Asset Management database, current inventory, disposal procedure, and branch working tool life cycle management are updated and maintained.
- Resolving and closing issues and incidents pertaining to support working tools that are logged into Service Manager from branches
Qualifications:
- A bachelor’s degree in the field of ICT engineering.
- Having certification in any of the IT systems (Cisco, Microsoft, etc.) will be beneficial.
- Three or more years of experience supporting banking IT systems in a related capacity.
