Under the functional supervision of the Group Chief Finance Officer and reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, the individual holding this role will oversee all processes related to efficient handling of the organization’s financial and non-financial assets, guaranteeing accurate and timely reporting.
Responsibilities:
- Create and put into place reliable accounting systems with built-in controls to protect the company’s assets and guarantee accurate and timely reporting.
- Communicates with outside auditors regarding the company’s auditing operations.
- Responsible for creating long-term business strategies and annual budgets, as well as making sure all departments and units follow the rules set forth in the budget.
- Create and oversee the deployment of a strong and efficient treasury management system that protects business assets, maximizes profitability, and makes it easier to manage cash flow and comply with the Tanzania Insurance Act.
- Oversees the cash flow of the business to pay off all debts as they become due. Effective asset and liability management will be part of this in order to match the asset maturity profiles.
Qualification:
- Finance (B) Bachelor’s Degree (Required).
