POSITION DESCRIPTION

Keeping up-to-date, accurate financial transaction records.
Following recognized local accounting principles and financial reporting standards when documenting, categorizing, and summarizing financial events and transactions.
Providing guidance and support to management in the creation and administration of the company budget.
Offering suggestions for strengthening the internal control and financial management systems.
Examining, attesting to, and confirming each retirement from general staff members before posting it to the system.
Maintaining documentation and making plans for bookkeeping.
Help in filling out and preparing statutory returns.
General ledger and bank account reconciliation.
The supervisor may assign additional tasks.

QUALIFICATION

A bachelor’s degree with an accounting major, or something similar.
One to three years of accounting and finance experience.
Familiarity with the International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) familiarity with tax laws and rules.
Proficiency with Quick Book and other computer systems and applications. Financial reporting or management accounting is an extra benefit.
