Responsibilities:
- In addition to helping Project and Program Unit teams prepare, implement, and monitor communications and visibility/branding plans, the post holder is in charge of carrying out Tanzania’s program support communications strategy. This includes gathering, documenting, archiving, packaging, and sharing crucial information, best practices, and learning from both within and outside of Tanzania.
- Creating and maintaining databases, systems, and tools for information and education at the national, regional, and program office levels
- In performing his or her duties, the job holder will collaborate with the communications focal points in the Thematic, Project, and Program Implementation Areas rather than directly with them.
- Help teams with media coordination at the country office, thematic, project and program implementation area
- Assist in making sure that activities adhere to the project communication plan by following donor directives.
