Public Service Recruitment Secretariat (PSRS)
The Public Service Recruitment Secretariat (PSRS) is an autonomous government agency that was created with the express purpose of streamlining the hiring process for public service positions. The Public Service Act No. 8 of 2002, as revised by Act No. 18 of 2007, section 29(1), established the Public Service Recruitment Secretariat.
Within seven days following the announcement date, successful applicants must pick up their job assignment letters from the Public Service Recruitment Secretariat’s offices at the University of Dodoma (UDOM), in the Dr. Asha Rose Migiro Buildings, Open Registry. Uncollected letters will be mailed to the applicants’ postal addresses following this time.
Furthermore, candidates who are selected and placed in work stations must report to the employer within the time frame indicated in their job assignment letters. Original school transcripts, beginning with the fourth form, must be submitted for verification by the employer prior to employment letters being granted. Those whose names are not on this list should be aware that they were not selected for the post or did not make the interview cut, but they should still apply for other positions that may become available in the future.
Important: Identification is required for verification when picking up job assignment letters. Valid IDs include passports, national identification cards, resident IDs, voter IDs, and work IDs.
