In order to support Wine To Water strategic objectives in Tanzania, the Partnership Manager – Tanzania function is in charge of expanding existing partnerships and forming new ones that would bring in money. A competent leader with an entrepreneurial mindset, demonstrated company or fund development expertise, and an Arusha base are needed for this position.
This position will foster connections with the WTW Filter Factory, tourist and safari companies, and donors of the WTW WASH initiative. With more financing partners, international NGO program collaborators, and WASH and development sector consortiums, growth is anticipated.
Responsibilities:
- Strategic leadership of alliances in accordance with the national and international strategies of WTW.
- To ensure the financial viability of WTW Tanzania, financing programs are needed to expand the country through fundraising and business development.
- Creation of income targets, budget preparation, and accountability.
- Strong and encouraging administration and leadership of the national team: establishing and fostering an atmosphere that encourages excellence, education, and collaboration at all levels.
- Representation and profiling: forming alliances and keeping up strong bonds with partners, sponsors, nearby companies, legislators, and other pertinent parties.
- Cooperation with other WTW nations to improve WTW’s position, deliver at scale (including multi-country projects), and take advantage of synergy opportunities.
- The Partnership Manager will also work with WTW’s international team and partners to support learning, documentation, and the development of evidence-based knowledge;
Qualifications:
- A bachelor’s degree, or its equivalent, in a field that is relevant.
- A minimum of eight years of strategic experience in a related field.
- Knowledge and comprehension of the WASH sectors’ developments as well as the backdrop of worldwide development.
- Demonstrated success in managing relationships.
- Excellent people and business management skills with an emphasis on outcomes and entrepreneurial ability.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Strong placement and networking abilities on several levels.
- Culturally sensitive, courteous, and receptive.
- Proficiency in English and Swahili, both written and spoken.
