The goal is to create a market idea that will encourage more farmers to use fertilizer by enhancing plant nutrition knowledge, distribution, and logistics. Building a 40 KT bulk terminal close to Dar es Salaam Port, which manages the importing, packing, and distribution of bulk fertilizer to Tanzania, Rwanda, and Burundi, is one of Yara’s investments in the nation.

Responsibilities
- Make sure to concentrate on the leading indicators that will proactively support the YARA-established HESQ performance targets.
- Give management the assistance they need to guarantee adherence to all pertinent TOPs procedures and YARA requirements.
- Support Management to make sure that the organization implements and maintains all of Yara’s established Safe By Choice initiatives.
- Encourage and direct management to uphold operational discipline through systematic inspection
- Educate local staff on a variety of HESQ systems, including accident investigation techniques, risk assessments, and synergi.
- Make sure you obtain and keep up all necessary credentials, including IFA certification.
- Oversee and inspire different teams within the company to participate in all HESQ-related activities.
Requirement
- A university degree focused on business, engineering, or technology.
- HESQ certification from a globally renowned organization, such as Nebosh.
- At least five years of experience in an industrial setting with occupational health and safety.
Additional Information
knowledgeable about all applicable local laws, including the construction standards and the Occupational Health and Safety Act.
proficient in both Swahili and English.
competent with Word, Excel, and PowerPoint from Microsoft Office.
