In the Tarime district of the Mara region, in northwest Tanzania, sits the North Mara gold mine (Barrick Gold Corporation). It is approximately 20 kilometers south of the Kenyan border and 100 kilometers east of Lake Victoria.
In 2002, Barrick North Mara began producing goods for sale. The mine is an open pit and underground operation that uses two deposits: Nyabirama (open pit) and Gokona (underground). An average of 8,000 tonnes of ore can be processed every day by the process unit.

1. Data Clerk – 2 POSTS
Responsibilities
- For the benefit of the engineering services, shaft operation, millwright, shaft electrical, and instrumentation teams, create, print, distribute, collect, and file work order forms.
- Create a KPI report for each work order that is completed, signed, and turned in.
- Create and keep up-to-date production, inventory, and attendance records on a regular basis utilizing data sources and formats that have been approved for the program, function, or organizational reporting requirements.
- Manage office supplies and arrange components in accordance with operating specifications.
- To ensure efficiency, collaborate closely with the millwright, engineering services, shaft operation, shaft electrical, and instrumentation departments.
- Examine, prepare, and precisely record papers in accordance with the specific needs required for processing.
- Revise the board of maintenance.
- Attending required safety meetings and courses can help you ensure safe work practices.
- Encourage communication throughout various departments.
- Assembling and dispersing all mandated operational report requirements.
Qualification requirements:
- A certificate or diploma in IT, mechanical, electrical, or instrumentation engineering
- Certificate in Basic Computer.
