The young people who applied for positions through Prison Service Headquarters are informed by the Commissioner General of the Prison Service that they would be selected for interviews between April 22, 2024, and April 25, 2024. Starting at 2:30 AM.

The interviews will be held in the Conference Hall at the Prison Service Headquarters, Arusha Road, Msalato district, Dodoma. The candidates will cover their own expenses for lodging, meals, and transportation to and from the interviews.

The applicants’ occupations are used to divide the interviews into groups. The following is a list of applicants who were contacted for an interview along with the dates of the meeting: [This is where one would normally expect the list to end.]

Health Cadre Interview date: 22th April, 2024

Diploma in Clinical Medicine: 22th April, 2024

Bachelor Degree in Nursing: 22th April, 2024

Ordinary Diploma in Nursing: 23th April, 2024

Bachelor in Pharmacy: 23th April, 2024

Diploma in Pharmaceutical Science: 23th April, 2024

Lets remember, The Commissioner General of the Prison Service announced job opportunities for Tanzanian youths who have completed Form IV education and possess various skills at the Diploma and Degree levels on 9th January 2024.

Qualifications Were:

  • Must be a Tanzanian national;
  • Required to possess a National ID or NIM issued by the National Identity Authority (NIDA);
  • Must be now residing in the camps or have finished National Service (JKT) training;
  • Must not have worked for the government before;
  • For Form IV graduates, the age range must be between 18 and 25; for those with skills, it must be between 18 and 30;
  • A birth certificate is required;
  • Must be 5’4″ or 5’7″ tall for people of all genders, respectively;
  • Must be in good bodily and mental health, as determined by a government physician’s certification;
  • Unable to get married;
  • Must be free of body marks and tattoos;
  • Must be of strong moral character and discipline, and must not have been convicted of any crimes in the past.
