Since 2001, PAET, a fully owned subsidiary of Orca Energy Group Inc., has been operating the Songo Songo natural gas field in Tanzania. In addition to collaborating with important parties to assist alleviate Tanzania’s energy constraints and to jointly develop the nation’s energy resources, PAET is dedicated to the development and effective use of Tanzania’s natural gas resources.
We have the internal resources to provide interested graduate students in our internship program real chances for advancement and on-the-job training through our highly qualified local (99% Tanzanian) dedicated workforce. Most of our most senior employees began their careers with the company in entry-level roles and have worked their way up to become highly capable employees who are the company’s heart and soul through a combination of internal support, personal drive, and investments in their training and development.
Following two incredibly successful years in which over twenty (20) interns completed the program, PAET is now offering a new, one-year internship program with a fair retainer. This program will allow you to gain extensive work experience and valuable skills in a top oil and gas company. The internship will provide you with a comprehensive understanding of the sector and enable you to seriously contemplate the kind of job that suits you best. It’s an opportunity to collaborate with knowledgeable and driven PAET employees, put your newly acquired theoretical knowledge into practice, and network with accomplished young Tanzanian mentors who are well-versed in the field.

If you are a final-year student pursuing a degree in one of the following fields of higher education,
1. Finance
2. HSE/ Environmental Engineering
3. Petroleum Engineering or Geology
4. Procurement and Logistics
