Tanzania Civil Aviation Authority (TCAA)
In order to ensure the effective implementation of the Standards and Recommended Practices (SARPs) as outlined in the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) Annexes, the Tanzania Civil Aviation Authority (TCAA) was established by the enactment of the Tanzania Civil Aviation Authority Act 2003 Cap 80 (R.E 2006). The Authority is also in charge of economically policing the actions of individuals and organizations who offer aeronautical airport services and air transportation services. The Authority also offers air navigation services in upper Rwanda and Burundi, as well as in the United Republic of Tanzania.
The Public Service Recruitment Secretariat (PSRS), acting on behalf of the Tanzania Civil Aviation Authority (TCAA), is seeking dynamic, proactive, experienced, and suitably qualified Tanzanians to fill the nine (9) open positions listed below.
Open Positions and Description:
1. Aerodrome and Ground Aids Developmental Inspector (Civil) – 2 POSTS
- To carry out directed safety inspection of airports, such as aerodrome certification and licensing;
2. Airworthiness Developmental Inspector (Mechanical) – 1 POST
- To help enforce regulatory requirements and notify the supervisor of any inadequacies;
3. Airworthiness Developmental Inspector (Avionics) – 1 POST
- To help enforce regulatory requirements and notify the supervisor of any inadequacies;
4. Air Navigation Technician II – 5 POSTS
- To assist in performing maintenance on CNS/ATM equipment;
