Benjamin Mkapa Hospital (BMH)
After its launch on October 13, 2015, the Benjamin Mkapa Hospital was formed by Government Notice No. 453 of 2015, which was published in the government gazette on October 16, 2015. The construction of this hospital aims to reduce the expenses incurred by the Tanzanian government as a result of patient referrals from overseas. The fourth president of the United Republic of Tanzania, Dr. Jakaya Mrisho Kikwete, planned to establish a cutting-edge diagnostic center in Tanzania by 2015.
The hospital can handle patients from both domestic and foreign countries because to its 400 beds. The hospital today provides a wide range of medical services, including emergency medicine, an intensive care unit (ICU), imaging (MRI, CT scan, ultrasound, angiography, mammography, X-ray, ultrasound), laboratory services, surgical services, and radiotherapy services.
Responsibilities:
- Preserving and looking after patient records;
- Ensuring that the Unit’s equipment is properly maintained;
- Make sure that the BMH business process and standard operating procedure are followed;
- Carry out additional tasks that the supervisor assigns you;
Qualification:
- Possessing a diploma in physical therapy or a comparable degree from an accredited university.
