Responsibilities:
- Oversee regional efforts to enforce compliance and put sourcing strategy into action.
- oversee the adoption, deployment, and adherence to the procurement procedures and instruments across the entire organization;
- Analyze and choose providers who can satisfy Wasoko’s needs while keeping overall costs to a minimum;
- Handle RFI/P, record suggestions, and inform vendors of outcomes;
- Participate in vendor management, agreement management, procurement projects, and sourcing activities;
- Establish, carry out, and evaluate contractual agreements with suppliers in order to meet the organization’s cost-saving goals;
- Create and preserve mutually beneficial connections with the category group’s major vendors;
- Make recommendations, put the required tools into practice, and continuously work to save costs;
Requirements:
- Requirements: 5–8 years of relevant experience
- Strong experience handling CAPEX and OPEX as a procurement specialist is preferred.
- A bachelor’s degree, ideally in engineering, finance, statistics, or supply chain management
- Capacity to function both independently and effectively in a high-pressure sales setting
- Show a thorough understanding of procurement policies and procedures, with a focus on project management.
- Strong organizational abilities and aptitude for data analysis,
- Strong communication and presenting skills, both written and spoken
- Being open to traveling for work
- Work with people and in multicultural teams must be a passion.
