At Pass Trust, the HR Executive’s job is to assist the Senior Officer of Human Resources and Administration in carrying out various HR-related tasks in an efficient manner. The position holder will support the Trust’s overarching strategic goals by helping to execute human resources policies, procedures, and programs that guarantee the HR department runs smoothly.
Responsibilities:
- Provide support to the employment process by locating applicants, doing interviews, and organizing hiring events.
- Help in the planning, organizing, and execution of staff training and development initiatives to improve their knowledge and abilities.
- Assist the Senior Human Resources and Administration Officer in managing employee relations issues, such as resolving conflicts, implementing sanctions, and managing grievances.
- Contribute to goal-setting, performance reviews, and employee and manager feedback to enhance the performance management process.
- Oversee the administration of employee benefits, including enrollment, claim processing, and question answering.
- Help in the creation, evaluation, and execution of HR policies, practices, and programs to encourage a positive workplace environment and engaged workforce.
- Assist decision-making processes by gathering and evaluating HR data to contribute to HR reporting and analytics.
Qualifications:
- A bachelor’s degree in a similar discipline, such as human resources management.
- A professional human resources management qualification is a bonus.
- capacity to find candidates using a variety of methods, conduct interviews, and determine which prospects are a good fit for a position.
- Proficient in both English and Kiswahili, with outstanding communication skills, and the capacity to collaborate and communicate with colleagues both domestically and internationally in a multicultural setting.
- Capacity to handle disputes, settle complaints, and foster a happy work atmosphere in order to manage relationships between workers and the Trust.
- Knowledge of the procedures involved in performance management, including as goal-setting, performance reviews, and feedback systems.
- Capacity to gather, examine, and evaluate HR data in order to offer insights and facilitate decision-making procedures.
- A minimum of three (3) years of relevant experience in a related discipline, such as human resources management.
- Familiarity with assisting with a range of HR tasks, including hiring, employee relations, and HR administration.
- Knowledge of the labor rules and regulations in Tanzania.
- Experience collaborating with various teams and operating in a multicultural setting.
