- Before starting operations, make sure the daily briefing and debriefing are completed.
- Receive the goods from the supplier in the appropriate number and quality, and make sure the driver and security staff sign off.
- After receiving confirmation, enter obtained stock data in real-time into WMS (JDA).
- total accountability for stock integrity, storage, and product handling.
- Accept the request for a transfer of items from the main warehouse to the dispatch bays, address the stock issue, and verify the accuracy of the stock.
- Upon issue confirmation, update transmitted stock data input in real-time in WMS (JDA).
- Limit stock loss and provide the site manager with an explanation of any non-conformity or stock deviation so that it can be looked into and escalated.
- Limit non-warehouse workers’ access to the warehouse.
- Make sure the WMS system is in line with physical storage volumes and that standard quality product is maintained in the warehouse zones.
- Ensure that all daily reports, productivity reports, warehouse resource lists, filing records, and other documents are kept clearly and accurately.
