Responsibilities:
- Oversee a Group of Tellers: You are responsible for overseeing a group of tellers to make sure they balance, regulate, and manage their cash floats every day, minimizing risk to the bank while providing customer service.
- Make sure that tellers promptly give and receive hard currency, traveler’s checks, drafts, and other financial instruments from walk-in clients.
- Process and cash checks that clients bring in for payment or deposit after verifying their identity, account information, and other required controls. Before completing the transaction or disbursing the funds, keep an eye out for any suspicious or fraudulent activity and report any concerns to the branch manager or team leader.
- Before completing the procedure, make sure that every transaction on the bank system has been duly authorized.
Qualifications:
- Advanced National (Vocational) Certificates and Higher Certificates in Business, Commerce, and Management Studies (Required).
