Role Purpose
The CVM Executive will be responsible for key Airtel Money KPIs as below :
- Revenue KPI, increase subscriber ARPU, active subscribers, and use cases per subscriber.
- Subscriber KPIs Increase AM penetration of the GSM base, expand active users, new users, and wingbacks, reduce churn and decay.
- CVM Data insights and Campaign Management
Key Responsibilities:
1.Revenue growth.
- Analyze consumer activity data to identify customer segments, usage, and revenue patterns.
- Design and create segment-based usage campaigns to increase AM revenue.
- ARPU increase can be achieved by increasing usage, transaction value, and income from the existing base.
- Develop insights and campaigns to utilize all AM products and services.
- Monitor product yield and product mix closely to guarantee steady growth and minimize yield destruction.
- Continuously increase bundle and Airtime self-recharge utilizing AM.
2.Growth of Active customer Base.
- Ensure the continued expansion of the AM active subscriber base, GA conversions to AM REC, and customer retention.
- Design and design campaigns to increase gross additions extraction, winbacks, managing churn, and M2 decay.
- Drive AM penetration in the GSM base to ensure month-on-month growth.
- Develop region-specific insights to determine AM penetration and design marketing accordingly.
- Identify locations to increase penetration, and create and develop campaigns to achieve this.
- Analyze gross additions, churn, wingbacks, and net additions, identify patterns and trends, and provide insights to support management’s base growth decisions.
3.Data analytics and insights generation.
- Use different DBMS for data mining, analysis, and reporting.
- Continuously query critical revenue growth and subscriber KPIs.
- To determine patterns, assess growth, or identify degrowth.
- Continuously evaluate the success of AM goods and services and produce insights, campaigns, and plans to assure growth. Provide insights to the business team and product owners.
- Competitor analysis and market insights generating
4.Campaign Management
- Responsible for operational campaign management across all CVM technologies, including Pelatro mViva.
- Coordinate all campaign requests from the company, prioritize, and supervise the implementation of all CVM campaigns, monitoring and reporting.
- Guarantee a thorough grasp of Airtel’s CVM campaign tools, and collaborate with vendors’ operations and technology teams to guarantee optimal utilization and uptime of all CVM tools
5.SQL.
- Understand business logic and how to apply SQL rules and procedures to generate and mine data accurately.
- Coach coworkers to use basic SQL.
6.Reporting
- Prepare timely management reports that highlight performance against established business KPIs.
- Keep clear CVM campaign reports, conversion reports, and project trackers.
- Produce and provide required reports to the business on demand.
7. Build a capable and motivated team at Airtel Tanzania to create a high-performance team environment
- Recruit the suitable people in consultation with the function head, following established recruitment rules.
- Provide inspirational leadership and guidance to team members.
- Establish performance expectations and conduct regular reviews of individual performance.
8.Any other duties as assigned from time to time
Qualifications and Experience.
Educational Qualifications & Functional / Technical Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a similar discipline.
- Certified in SQL
Relevant Experience.
- Minimum of 5+ professional commercial experience in Mobile Financial Services, with good experience in product management, customer lifecycle management, and customer experience.
- IT advanced skills include database and SQL scripting.
- Excellent analytical capabilities.
- Capable of serving as a matrix manager, coordinating people and technical resources from many departments within the firm.
- Capable of managing and prioritizing many projects simultaneously.
- Capable of operating in a performance-driven organization.
- Knowledge of English and Swahili
