Over 900 people work for Coca-Cola Kwanza, a CCBA subsidiary that accounts for 54% of Tanzania’s geographical area. Coca-Cola Kwanza runs two bottling facilities in Tanzania: one in Mikocheni, Dar es Salaam, and another in Mbeya. Tanzania, Uganda, and Ghana are part of the newly formed Central African Region, directed by Conrad Van Niekerk.
Coca-Cola Kwanza Ltd is offering an amazing position in the People & Culture Department. We are searching for a skilled professional with necessary abilities and expertise in learning and development to fill the role of Learning and Development Manager in Dar es Salaam. The selected applicant will be reporting directly to the People & Culture Director.
Responsibilities:
- Examines country strategy and compares key competency requirements to present levels to determine strategic emphasis areas and training needs that are aligned with organisational goals.
- Leads the execution of the country’s development infrastructure, which includes career routes, competence frameworks, competency definition, curriculum design, crucial learning interventions, and systems.
- Actively promotes a learning culture in the country by implementing the most effective learning approaches, techniques, and assessments.
- Aligns Learning & Development procedures, practices, frameworks, and tools in the nation, if appropriate, with the Group Office (GO).
- Develops and oversees partnerships with external partners within the country, such as educational institutions.
- Develops and implements effective Learning and Development metrics that are linked with GO and drive and support national success.
Qualifications:
- The candidate must hold a bachelor’s degree or its equivalent, along with a postgraduate HR qualification.
- A minimum of five years’ worth of learning and development experience, including experience at the managerial level or above. proficiency with Microsoft Office programs
- Outstanding interpersonal, effective communication, and strong relationship/stakeholder management abilities at all levels with both internal and external clients;
- Exceptionally high requirements for moral character and client care.
