The Dar es Salaam University College of Education (DUCE) is a part of the University of Dar es Salaam, which was established in 2005. Offering integrated teaching, research, and public services are the College’s main duties, as stated in the 2010 Rules and the Dar es Salaam University College of Education Charter.

The College invites qualified public officials to apply for transfer to enhance research, public service delivery, and teaching and learning at DUCE.

Responsibilities:

To properly diagnose the condition;
To prescribe therapies.
To treat wounds:
To provide first aid for MCH concerns;
To administer anesthesia during procedures.
Attend general outpatient clinics.
To safeguard patients and personnel by following infection control policies and protocols, pharmaceutical administration and storage procedures, and controlled drug restrictions;
Document patient care services in writing and retain patient records.
To retain patient confidence and protect operations, keep information discreet.
To assure equipment operation by performing preventive maintenance needs, following manufacturers’ instructions, calling for repairs, maintaining equipment inventories, and evaluating new equipment and techniques.
To undertake any other related duties as given by the supervisor.
