We are searching on behalf of our client for an enthusiastic, customer-focused team player with outstanding sales abilities to fill the position of sales manager at their hectic camps. In order to meet and surpass revenue targets, you will be responsible for creating a sales and marketing plan that involves cold calling potential customers, going on site to show potential customers around, and participating in community outreach.
By investigating regional market patterns and rivalry to find and close business leads, this driven leader will be able to increase income. Responsibilities:
- Use cold calling, site visits and sales tours, and community networking to bring in new business, seal deals, and boost profits.
- Examine local market trends and competitor activity to find fresh business leads.
- Create and maintain connections with key groups and caterers in order to increase our market share.
- Assists the director of sales and marketing in creating the department budget and the overall goals and plan for sales for the hotel.
- At numerous industry tradeshows and conferences, represent the camp in a professional manner and follow the rules.
- Give management access to up-to-date strategic sales and marketing data.
- Work closely with the revenue manager to make sure the suggested prices and negotiations fit the hotel’s budget.
Qualifications:
- A bachelor’s degree in tourism, hospitality, business administration, or a similar discipline.
- 8+ years of experience, ideally in the hospitality sector, with at least 3 of those years spent in a managing role
- Compassion for clients and other universities.
- Excellent personal presentation combined with a kind, self-assured, and welcoming demeanor.
- It is essential to have leadership abilities, analytical capabilities, customer service, marketing expertise, networking, and communication abilities.
