We are looking for a highly driven and seasoned Business Development Manager to manage and strengthen our current clientele in the extractive, multinational, and diplomatic industries. With a solid background in the security and service sectors and demonstrated skills in client relations, business growth, and opportunity development, the perfect applicant will have no trouble seizing possibilities. In these fields, candidates ought to have a strong worldwide network, with ties to Tanzania considered a major bonus.

Maintaining and growing business possibilities in Tanzania will be the responsibility of this role in close collaboration with other senior executives and heads of business units. Achieving sustainable growth and aligning goals requires close collaboration with the Director of Extractive Services, the Strategic Clients Group for Sub-Saharan Africa, and the Operations Director for Africa.


  • Client relationship management: Act as the go-to person for important clients in the extractive, multinational, and diplomatic industries. Maintain client satisfaction and manage continuing relationships by keeping lines of communication open and taking prompt action to address any problems.
  • Business Development: Create and deliver strategic proposals to prospective clients while searching the security industry for new business prospects. Concentrate on using creative business methods to raise income and broaden the company’s footprint.
  • Strategic Planning: Establish and carry out plans that are in line with the organization’s objectives for client management and expansion in collaboration with senior management. Make use of market trend knowledge to direct the decision-making process.
  • Market analysis: Perform in-depth research on the competitive environment and current market trends. Utilize this information to modify your company plans as necessary.


  • Ten years or more of experience in the security industry providing solutions to clients both inside and outside of organizations
  • Ten years or more of operational expertise in complicated operating conditions, such as those in Africa
  • Previous experience in the government, mining, oil & gas, and diplomatic sectors is clearly advantageous.
  • An advantage is prior experience seeing and seizing fresh business prospects.
  • An advantage is having prior experience creating and presenting business ideas to clients.
  • Prior experience managing a budget is required.
