As a front desk agent, it is your duty to serve guests with professionalism and a focus on their needs, making their stay unforgettable.


  • Ensure that every guest receives timely, polite, and effective service in order to maximize customer satisfaction by offering individualized care from the time of arrival to the time of departure.
  • Make sure visitors are given a warm greeting by name, if applicable, and shown to their room so they feel anticipated and valued.
  • Assist guests with inquiries and requests regarding hotel activities and provide in-room and hotel familiarization
  • In order to answer questions from guests, keep up-to-date knowledge of hotel information and nearby services, including working hours, promotions, events, attractions, and any related information.
  • Remain cognizant of the occupancy levels and the rates that must be marketed on a daily basis.
  • Apply front desk cashiering standards accurately and adhere to all established systems, policies, and procedures.
  • Utilizing computerized Front Office systems, process accounts from check-in to check-out, making sure that any incidental charges are posted accurately.
  • Preserve each guest’s privacy by making sure that no personal information is shared.
  • Show that you fully comprehend the hotel’s rules, guidelines, and service expectations. You should also be fully aware of the hotel’s amenities and activities.
  • To safeguard the health and safety of both visitors and staff as well as to preserve and protect the environment, do business in a safe and environmentally responsible manner.
  • Respect the hotel’s health, safety, and environmental policies and procedures.


  • You must also be proficient in spoken and written English, possess flawless personal presentation skills, and be able to handle problems on your own.
