Managing and supporting a subset or the complete portfolio of the virtual team’s distributed apps is one of the main responsibilities of this position. In order to standardize procedures and boost productivity, teamwork is necessary to deploy and support solutions under the Consumer Centric capability area throughout the region.

Using the resources at their disposal, the candidate is expected to hone their technical and project delivery skills, especially with regard to digital e-commerce platforms, Salesforce automation, and ERP.

Making sure contractors and outside service providers fulfill their obligations and don’t go over the budget is a big part of the job.

  • Oversee initiatives to install and modify centralized systems locally or regionally. It includes all aspects of project planning and management, such as data migration, organizing both internal and external resources, and overseeing the changeover to operational state.
  • Work proactive with D&IT partners and business stakeholders. The objective of this partnership is to enhance current capabilities or establish a precise comprehension of future capability prerequisites. It entails supervising the introduction of new solutions and collaborating closely with the Virtual Team Lead to find and incorporate appropriate tools into the strategic roadmap.
  • Keep an eye on technology developments both inside JTI’s and in the broader market. They are in charge of locating and showcasing these developments to commercial partners, as well as investigating any possible breakthroughs inside the purview of the virtual team.
  • To ensure the successful implementation of particular projects and modifications, occasionally involving related teams, take the lead and manage them. In order to ensure compliance with JTI D&IT and Corporate governance standards, this function necessitates adherence to the Project Management Framework, JTI D&IT standards, policies, procedures, J-Sox controls, and industry best practices.


  • 8+ years of expertise in the field of information technology, with 3+ of those years spent managing IT for application/business solution teams (including personnel management as needed)
  • Experience with Salesforce & ERP Automations is essential.
  • solid understanding of PowerBI visualization, analytics, and SQL data queries
  • B2B and B2C solutions (payment systems, consumer involvement, loyalty programs, and online sales).
  • strong operational understanding of business and associated procedures in the FMCG sector.
  • Utilizing ServiceNow Application Knowledge
  • knowledge of two or more of the newest technological advancements listed below: Power Platform (PowerApps, PowerBi, and Power Automate) from Microsoft
  • familiarity with Microsoft Data Lake and Data Warehouse products
  • Analyzing business requirements and documenting processes
  • strong grasp of finances and budgets
  • Prior job experience managing medium- to large-scale projects using agile and hybrid project management techniques
  • Outstanding ability to manage business relationships
  • Proven expertise in digital and e-commerce would be very beneficial.
  • Proficiency in explaining intricate technical ideas to both technical and non-technical audiences, supported by a robust analytical and innovative problem-solving approach
  • The ability to adjust to modern technology and quickly changing surroundings, the dedication to continuous professional development, and keeping up with market trends
  • Proficiency in written and spoken English is required.
