During the crusher season and off-crop, the chosen candidate will be in charge of boiler operations and machine and part maintenance.

Responsibilities:
- To guarantee the completion and upkeep of boiler housekeeping
- To guarantee that boiler furnaces are cleaned (well-deashed)
- To guarantee appropriate handling of bagasse
- to supervise and control the bagasse machinery while it is in use.
- to supervise the operations of feed water stations.
- Make sure the condensate level is managed appropriately and within the necessary bounds.
- Make sure the boiler’s feed water parameters—PH, TDS, advantage, hardness, and Amersite—function within the necessary bounds.
- to guarantee that boiler Mabrey flashing is completed on time.
- to perform boiler equipment inspections.upkeep of boiler machinery for off-crop and crushing.
- Report any problems or deviations with the boiler to the boiler foreman.
Qualifications:
- Form IV or above for education level.
- Mechanical engineering certificate, trade exam two fitter mechanics, or a similar qualification.
- a minimum of two (2) years of boiler operating experience.
- fundamental knowledge about computers.
- Fundamental knowledge of industrial safety and the capacity to recognize risks and evaluate associated dangers when operating boilers.
- trained in the pollution of boiler water.
- able to use a thermometer without contact.
- trained in water treatment for boilers.
- apparatus for feeding water troubleshooting.
