Public Service Recruitment Secretariat (PSRS)
The Public Service Recruitment Secretariat (PSRS) is a government organ with a status of independent Department established specifically to facilitate the recruitment process of employees to the Public Service.
In order to assign work stations to successful interviewers, the Secretary of Employment Secretariat in the Public Service wishes to notify all job applicants that interviews are anticipated to take place between May 11th and April 28th, 2024. This notification is being sent on behalf of MDAs and LGAs. Those who are summoned for an interview should follow these guidelines: –
Names Called for Interview MDAs & LGAs:
1. The names of 2,338 individuals invited for the MDAs & LGAs interview
- The interview is scheduled to begin on the date given in this notification; the specific time and location of the interview are provided for each cadre.
- It is mandatory for every applicant to wear a face mask (Mask) when they arrive at the interview location.
- Every interviewee needs to bring identification with them at all times;
- Identification documents from your local government are acceptable forms of identification, as are those from your place of residence, place of employment, citizenship, and passport.
- Interviewees must present all of their original documentation, including their birth certificate, form IV, form VI, diploma, bachelor’s degree, master’s degree, and, based on their qualifications, any further degrees.
- Interviewees will not be accepted or permitted to continue the interview if they submit testimonials, provisional results, statement of results, form IV and form VI results slips, or any combination of these.
- Each interviewee will be in charge of their own lodging, transportation, and food.
- The time, date, and location of the interview should be observed by every interviewee.
- Make sure the competent authority (such TCU, NACTE, or NECTA) has validated and accepted the certificates of any applicants who studied outside of Tanzania.
- Candidates for jobs whose names are not listed in this notification should be aware that they did not qualify. As a result, don’t be afraid to reapply when positions become available, keeping in mind the specifications listed in the pertinent announcement.
- Cadres who need to register with their professional boards must bring their original work licenses and registration certificates.
- Since test numbers won’t be provided on the day of the interview, all interviewees who are called for the appointment must go into their accounts and duplicate their numbers.
- It is essential that you dress appropriately for the chilly weather because Dodoma City experiences cold temperatures, as all interviewers are aware.

IMPORTANT: In order to be assigned to conduct the interview in a location close to their current location, all interviewees must update their information in the Contacts Details section, which is located in the Personal Details area on their Ajira Portal Accounts. To do this, they must fill out the “Current Resident District” and “Current Resident Region” fields based on their current location.
As no interviewee will be permitted to conduct an interview at a station where they were not assigned, all interviewees must promptly update their information in accordance with their areas. It will be necessary for all respondents to conduct interviews at the stations to which they have been assigned in accordance with their matching in the “Current Resident District” and “Current Resident Region.”

All interviewees will get notifications about their interview locations via their Employment Portal Accounts and the Employment Secretariat website.
