Leading the adoption of cutting-edge customer analytical techniques is the primary duty of the Manager, Reporting and Analytics. This is necessary to allow MTN SA to lead the market in value propositions, GTM market strategies, and end-to-end customer value.

Responsibilities:

Should follow the guidelines provided by the rules, methods, and procedures.
Key Performance Areas (KPAs): Fundamental duties and results of the role
Assist the senior manager with analysis in the following areas: prepaid pricing and analytics as needed and for particular projects
Overseeing data and analytical inquiries and sending them down to direct reports
Establishing and overseeing the analytics department’s appropriate procedures and administrative needs.
Oversee every employee who answers to this position.
Provide personnel in this job with advanced technical support.
To guarantee that every employee in the reporting and analytics division meets productivity standards.
To encourage and put into practice cutting-edge methods for creating intricate analytical models
Effectively communicate intricate analytical models to stakeholders.

Qualification:

A university degree in physics, engineering, mathematics, statistics, computer science, or a similar field
Five years minimum of experience in a specialized field, with prior management or supervision experience
Expertise from a medium-sized to large organization

Functional Competencies:

Analytical thinking and superior problem-solving abilities
Strong documentation and data mining abilities
Strong familiarity with econometrics and statistical techniques
Understanding the importance of quality assurance and control
Capacity to look at problems in more detail while keeping a larger corporate perspective
Excellent communication abilities, both written and verbal, especially the capacity to interact with internal teams and stakeholders at MTN
The capacity to function in a fast-paced setting where juggling conflicting priorities is necessary
The initiative to provide fresh, creative, and practical methods for enhancing current business frameworks and/or solutions
Experience with SAS and/or SQL for data mining and analysis would be advantageous.
It would be advantageous to have knowledge of or experience with visualization software (such as Microsoft Power BI).
