Tanzania Agricultural Development Bank Limited (TADB)

In September 2012, Tanzania Agricultural Development Bank Limited (TADB) was founded in accordance with the Company Act, 2002 CAP 212. The Bank was established with the intention of spearheading capacity-building plans and activities to fortify the value chain for agricultural financing and to assist the Tanzanian government in formulating and executing policies and plans pertaining to lending to the agricultural and rural sectors.

In addition to other duties, the records management assistant will be in responsible of maintaining the security of documents and records, filing, archiving, and retrieving service records, indexing and updating documents, and keeping track of the records’ retention, preservation, and destruction.

1. Records Management Assistant


  • To verify the accuracy, completeness, and validity of data or information;
  • To handle, save, and get data;
  • To resolve disputes pertaining to maintaining records;
  • To keep records (documents) and equipment safe;
  • To assist in the creation of the Bank’s monthly, quarterly, and yearly reports on record management;
  • To determine which tools are necessary for the records management unit to operate;
  • To deliver and retrieve mail;
  • To carry out any additional relevant tasks that the supervisor may prescribe.


  • A diploma in records management, archives, or a related field, or the equivalent qualifications from an accredited
  • Four (4) years or more of relevant work experience is required.
  • Shown proficiency with databases and records management technologies.
  • Strong precision and attention to detail.
  • Outstanding aptitude for organization
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Adept at managing records and using the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel)
  • Knowledge of government regulations and timeframes for document retention will be an added.
