Tindwa Medical and Health Services is a locally registered company that provides emergency medical services, waste and environmental management, occupational health and safety services both domestically and abroad, and medical supply services.

At TMHS we are seeking a Pharmaceutical Technician to work in a corporate clinic pharmacy. The role will involve monitoring inventory, helping the pharmacist prepare and dispense drugs, and making sure that prescriptions are correctly labeled and packaged.

Responsibilities:

  • By placing orders for the appropriate drugs and supplies and comparing delivery with purchase orders, you can keep inventory levels up to date.
  • To offer cordial customer service at counters for prescription pick-up and drop-off.
  • To accurately and completely deliver medication in accordance with a recorded prescription.
  • Make that the pharmacy has policies in place pertaining to the provision of a safe and effective service, and that it is clean, well-stocked, and safe.
  • Give patients precise, comprehensive information about their prescriptions and other needs related to the pharmacy.
  • Give medical and nursing professionals guidance and technical assistance with pharmacy needs.
  • Continually keep an eye on the pharmacy’s inventory to guarantee proper stock control and available supply.
  • Help with the creation of fresh, updated, and renewed pharmacy policies and procedures in accordance with continuous service modifications.
  • Examine cases of drug mistakes.

Qualifications:

  • Pharmacy diploma from an accredited school of higher learning.
  • Enrolled as a Pharmaceutical Technician with the Tanzanian Pharmacy Council.
  • Three years of minimum, verified experience working as a pharmaceutical technician.
  • Outstanding abilities in customer service.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Internet Mail.
  • An excellent mastery of both Swahili and English.
