Open Position and Description:

1. Business Development Specialist (VBU)

Role purpose: 

  • Encourage Vodacom Business’s strategic and business growth activities.
  • Assist in identifying opportunities and challenges through business analysis.
  • Oversee administrative responsibilities for the Executive office and other departments to guarantee seamless functioning.
  • Organize staff involvement at VBU.
  • Organize team events to promote cooperation and departmental synergy.
  • Assist in accomplishing the goals of the organization by providing efficient assistance and organizing.

Key responsibilities

  • Provide insights to support the examination of new business initiatives results, pinpoint problems, and suggest fixes:
  • Work closely with department heads to implement key activities and make sure that agreed-upon action points are effectively implemented. This entails collaborating on agreed-upon action points and key actions.
  • Assist in gathering the information and insights required to prepare for frequent engagement activities, such as meetings or reviews that occur on a monthly or quarterly basis, by working with pertinent stakeholders.
  • Organize operational issues, This entails discussing administrative and operational issues with senior management and keeping track of action items.
  • keeping track of the tasks assigned to each department head on the Vodacom Business team and updating the status of these tasks on a regular basis.
