Tanzania’s Comprehensive Community Based Rehabilitation (CCBRT) operates as a healthcare social enterprise and strives to be the region’s top supplier of easily available specialist health services. It also targets the most disadvantaged members of the community through development initiatives. As part of its mission to avoid lifetime disabilities wherever possible, CCBRT also provides comprehensive obstetric fistula repairs and other maternity and newborn healthcare (MNHC) services. Its Maternity and Newborn Wing acts as a referral hub for high-risk and urgent deliveries throughout Tanzania’s Eastern Zone and the Dar es Salaam region.

Assure proper management and documentation of all funeral services.
Your supervisor will assign you to the position of health attendant when you are not assigned to mortuary responsibilities. It is required of you to work in shifts.
Qualifications:
- Form IV certificate with passing grades in Kiswahili and English, as well as a one-year certificate in any health attendant program or nursing attendant
- An introductory course for mortuary attendants.
- A minimum of two years of experience working as a medical attendant; mortuary attendant experience is an added benefit.
- Acquainted with Tanzania’s various religious traditions
- Sensitivity to interpersonal relationships
- Strong communication abilities and rudimentary English
- Knowledgeable about computers
