Wasoko’s commercial strategy will be shaped and carried out in large part by the Head of Commercial. An experienced individual with a solid history in business development and commerce, especially in the logistics and technology industries, is needed for this leadership role. The chosen applicant will oversee important client relationships, increase revenue, and spot new business prospects.

Responsibilities:

Create and implement a commercial strategy that is in line with the overarching goals of the company.
Take the lead in locating, assessing, and pursuing new business prospects.
Formulate and execute pricing tactics to maximize profits and revenue.
Oversee commercial agreement discussions to secure advantageous terms for the company.
Create and manage a productive commercial team while offering coaching and direction.

Qualifications:

An undergraduate degree in business, marketing, logistics, or a similar discipline; an MBA is preferred.
Experience in traditional trade (FMCGs, telecom, etc.) or B2C e-commerce is preferred.
Experience with startups is advantageous.
Superb team management and leadership abilities.
Outstanding interpersonal and communication abilities.
A strategic attitude and the capacity to produce outcomes in a hectic setting.
