Tanzanian commercial bank NMB Bank Plc. The central bank and national banking regulator of Tanzania, the Bank of Tanzania, has granted it a license.

The objective is to grow and retain a portfolio of Institutional Banking clients (both Government and Private Institutions) by performing a proactive, mobile, value adding financial partnership role, ensuring that close personal attention is given to provide a full array of customized financial solutions and services tailored to meet the growth needs Institutional clients.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain current client connections by keeping in touch and making in-person visits, all while making sure that clients’ banking needs are met promptly and efficiently.
  • Collaborate with the product team and other internal staff members to offer a well-defined account plan that is founded on a comprehension of client requirements. Offer suitable solutions for clients across pertinent products by leveraging the bank’s competitive advantages, such as its network, balance sheet, and brand.
  • Determine and create a target pipeline, then actively seek out new, lucrative institutional clients by marketing to them and taking advantage of cross-selling opportunities.
  • Uphold the highest professional standards and make an effort to offer clients competitive pricing and high-quality services by making sure that new and existing institutional customers receive industry-leading customer service, first-rate onboarding, and advisory services.
  • Act as a proactive point of contact for clients, the client service delivery team, and the credit and back office service fulfillment departments.
  • Control self-assessment, handle root-cause analysis for concerns presented, and oversee full regulatory compliance (KYC).
  • Preserve the superior quality of the asset book, guarantee top-notch results, and optimize portfolio returns.
  • Compile the data required to evaluate and prepare credit applications in order to control client expectations.
  • Manage client portfolio proactively while adhering to the regulatory framework and the bank’s policies, processes, and guidelines to reduce fraud and financial loss.

Qualifications:

  • A bachelor’s degree in finance, statistics, marketing, business administration, economics, or research.
  • An additional benefit is having a master’s degree in business administration or a closely related subject.
  • A minimum of five years’ experience handling clients in the public sector, including the government.
