Kibaha Education Centre (KEC)

Located in the Pwani Region, the Kibaha Education Centre (KEC) is a multipurpose educational facility. The Center was founded in 1963 in accordance with Public Corporation Act, No. 17 of 1969, which was later amended by Public Corporation Act, Cap 257 R.E 2002.

The Center was supported by five nations: the government of Tanganyika at the time, as well as the governments of Denmark, Finland, Norway, and Sweden. When the KEC Center was first formed, its principal goal was to use its institutions to launch a three-frontal attack of education on the issues of poverty, ignorance, and diseases—all of which are referred to as the main enemies of national development.

  • Must carry out any additional tasks that the supervisor may prescribe in relation to their employment.


  • Possessor of a Form IV Certificate with passes in both English and Kiswahili as well as a Diploma in Secretarial Studies. Additionally, the candidate has computer proficiency in Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, the Internet, email, and Microsoft Publisher, and has successfully completed Shorthand (English) and Hati Mkato (Kiswahili) at a speed of 80 words per minute.
